PENDULUM LALALALALALALA

the synth should be louder, and the bass should be fatter. you used the pendulum drums well, with good accompaniments. just work on that mixdown and you'll be making top-notch cheesy pendu-rock in no time.
also, turn down the tempo. it'll sound better, trust me.

i see you're still at it here on ng.
btw i was sifting through old stuff the otha day and i came across a song you did for the Reason vs. FL collab years ago. I remixed it 4 funz :P
i guess you want some criticism, so here ya go.
kick: a big improvement over some of the sounds you've been using. could be a lot better though
snare: you make some really shitty snares. they're too high pitched and badly EQed. listen to good dnb snares and you'll hear a big difference.
reese/bass: the bassline is actually kinda catchy. it's too complicated though. i would cut out those choppy 16th notes. also, you really need to work on a good balance between reese and sub. make sure you do them seperately. for the sub i recommend using a sine wave, finding which sounds best on a sound system, and then adding another octave up at about half volume. boost the low end. to cut the reese, leave some of the high bass frequencies so it doesn't sound too crappy, but dont let it interfere with the sub.
DEFINITELY get rid of all the orchestral pad stuff during the main part. it sounds much cooler if you just work lots more on the drums and bass.
you've been using the same cymbals for years, lol
also your sub should be mono, or i will kill you.
keep it real

That creepy orchestrated intro is really nice, it sets the mood for the rest of the peice. Lots of diversity there.
I like that percussion line melody with the metal hits, it's a nice application of FX samples.
The hip hop style drums sound totally badass! I can start to hear the awesome bass work, too. You've taken a huge step in Drum n Bass from your last songs.
Then the main bassline comes in! YAAAAY! The automation is perfect, and that bass is badass!
That part has been stuck in my head for the whole day.
The main part is really nice when it kicks in, and the progressions are great. That plucked sound seems kinda out of place, but it's okay.
The drums are amazing. The mastering is great, although the kick could use a little more punch.
That last part at around 3:30 is a great climax to the song. It seems a little bit too orchestral, though. It works in trance, but with this style of dnb it just gets distracting.
Overall, it seems like the mix is too muddy. Maybe less low end would help.
There's just way too much compression on the whole mix. not only does it reduce dynamic accent capabilities, but it makes everything sound like a big peice of noise. You've just got to lay off the compression, dude! This song is fantastic, but the mastering kinda wrecks it.
5/5 Great job man!
